It’s been years, decades perhaps, since you have been here, and we know many people continue to hold Mondamin and Green Cove in their hearts. Now it’s time to create another instant community, share memories and celebrate a time that remains essential to so many of us. We are proud to announce that we will start offering an annual alumni weekend to both old and new campers and new families alike.
Alumni Camp is an opportunity for alumni of Camps Mondamin and Green Cove to see old friends, meet new ones, and do some activities around camp.
New families are welcome to join in!
If you can’t make it this year, consider talking to your group of friends from camp and plan a year to attend Alumni Camp together.
Relive days at camp! Swim in Lake Summit, go for a canoe ride, zip down the zipline, stay in your old cabin, meals in the dining hall, camp fire.
Other activities reminiscent of your time at camp might include: trail hikes, tie-dye, biking, music and art, a game of Bombardent and more.
Mondamin and Green Cove Alumni and families from any year. Alumni under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Expect to see people from many years back to our most current camper and staff alumni.
Children are welcome! Basic camp activites and outdoor programs will be available for young people. Please note that there is no childcare.
Campers of Alumni Camp, young and old, can arrive as early as noon on Friday and stay as late as Monday afternoon. Campers can come to all or part of the weekend, though cost is the same regardless. In-camp activities will be offered all weekend including the waterfront, tennis, volleyball, and trail hikes into the Back 40. There will be plenty of social time including hors d’oeurves on Saturday and Sunday late afternoon. What camp event would be complete without a Down Green river trip, which will most likely go out on Sunday?
Cost: $300 per person for the weekend, kids under 6 half price, kids under 2 free
