Things are really starting to green up around here which means that summer is on its way! Life around sleepy Tuxedo and Green Cove is starting to get crazy! Our maintenance staff has been working hard all winter long to get camp ready for the summer. All of their hard work is really starting to show. Check out the fresh new look on Hillside Line!
The patio at the front of the main building has also been re-done and looks fantastic! We’re giving you a ‘sneak peak’ of the benches, but you’ll have to wait for the full effect!
Green Cove is, once again, beginning to look like the beautiful place that you all remember. As a matter of fact, we are having a wedding here this weekend! (Debbie’s sister is getting married!)

Life at the barn is picking up as well. Kathy and Lee have been busy teaching riding lessons to folks who live near by. Butterscotch is the first of our horses to return back to camp from her winter home. We are so glad to have her back and have put her to work right away!
Kathy has done a lot of riding over the winter, but put the most time into Latte, a young thoroughbred mare we bought a little over a year ago. She’s doing really well, and should be ready for our more advanced riders during Main Camp.
If you are coming to camp this summer you should have gotten a packet of items including the packing list, health forms, stickers to help identify your trunk at the airport or shipping company, and lots of other important things. If you haven’t received it yet, let us know!
Girls who are coming back to June Camp: Watch the mail in the last part of April for your Big Sister Letter. We’ll be pairing up Big and Little Sisters soon so you returning campers will have time to get a note or an email off to your Little Sister/new camper!!!
If you are coming to camp this summer as a counselor, you should also be receiving a packet with a packing list and tons of other information in the beginning of May, so keep an eye out for a big envelope from Green Cove!
We still have some room left in our Main Session and one week sessions (and even a couple of spots left in June Camp). If you are interested or have a friend who wants to come, let us know!
